In traveling to over 15 countries, I have sat around tables and eaten meals with people who are extremely different from me. Different languages, different skin color, and different national foods were our dissimilarities. Yet, I noticed the same thing in each place.... People love to eat!! It is the center of daily life, it's how milestones are celebrated, and it's what comforts us. I became a chef for these very reasons. To be a part of someone's special day or to feed someone who is hungry is the greatest pleasure for me. It helps me feel like this world isn't so big after all; we all have to eat and to be able to enjoy a tasty treat truly is a gift!
After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America, I have lived and worked professionally in TX, NY, GA and now CO. I have fallen in love with the local small business community in Colorado Springs! I hope with Snowberry Bakehouse, I too, can be a part of this tribe. Through consistent, quality baked goods, I hope to partner with other organizations and businesses in town in order to strengthen the bonds between us and add to the quality of all our lives.
